Reg-Ready Field Note Issued Friday, October 16, 2026 · Week of October 12 to 16

The agent evidence pack: five documents supervisors described this week

US examiners asked how AI agents are limited, audited and shut down. The Financial Stability Board finalized 12 sound practices for boards to reference. The ECB asked significant banks for a switch-off and controlled restart plan by October 31. OpenAI set January 14, 2027 for retiring four API models. This note turns those into five documents, each with an owner.

Prepared by the Ariana Digital AI implementation practice. A.D. AEGIS is a practitioner operating model, not a regulatory standard. Not legal advice. Forward freely.

The week in one paragraph. Supervisors are collecting information about agents but have not written prescriptive rules. CITED F01 The FSB's practices give boards a reference point. VERIFIED F02 Reuters reports the final report asks for risk-based triggers for agents to seek human approval. CITED F03 Until rules arrive, your records are your answer.
